The New Mill Water Tower The tower was built in the Baroque style in 1658 on what remained of the original Mannerist tower, which was destroyed by a flood in 1655. It supplied water to the lower New Town and Petrská district and served its original purpose until the end of the 19th century. The tower has been thoroughly restored and currently houses an exhibition about Prague firefighters and fires.
