MAP Bílovice nad Svitavou Forests around Bílovice inspired Rudolf Těsnohlídek to write the story of The Cunning Little Vixen. Janáček, too, used to go there for trips. This beautiful town located in a valley surrounded by woods, a few kilometres outside Brno, offering pleasant walks along the Svitava River, was a popular destination of Brno residents and a number of Czech artists already during Janáček's times. Writer Rudolf Těsnohlídek, the author of the original stories about The Cunning Little Vixen, as well as poet S. K. Neumann often visited the town and later lived there. It was a holiday destination for the Čapek brothers, sculptor František Úprka, actors Karel Höger and Oldřich Nový. The Cunning Little Vixen lodge stands on the outskirts of Bílovice and the well of Leoš Janáček is located nearby. „wasn´t right“ / Příhody Lišky Bystroušky 1982 / Kühnův dětský sbor, Česká filharmonie Dir.
