Šternberk Castle Šternberk Castle was originally a defensive medieval manor, and the cylindrical tower and remains of the main palace fortifications have been preserved. In 1886, the castle underwent a complete restoration according to a design by Viennese architect Karl Gandolph Kayser in the spirit of romantic historicism. The surroundings are formed by a forest park and today’s lower castle settlement. The castle offers a hall for holding a variety of social events.
