A mass coin find from the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries, which was accidentally discovered at the end of 2016 near Bořitov in Blansko, became part of the collection of the Blansko Museum. The exhibition in the section dedicated to the early Middle Ages currently displays a total of 72 original coins after conservation and 2 pieces in the state before conservation. In the display case, all 800 coins are installed in the form of replicas to give an idea of how many coins made up the whole set and a replica of the container in which the coins were found. The 800 pieces of Moravian silver denarii are complemented by two pieces of Czech denarii. The collection is completely dominated by Moravian coins of Prince and King Vratislav II, other Přemyslid princes and anonymous coins from the second half of the 11th and early 12th centuries. The coins were stored in a preserved ceramic vessel and are in excellent condition.
