The origins of the collection date back to the first half of the 20th century, when the founders of our museum were engaged in research. The excavations of the Celtic oppidum Staré Hradisko also belong to this period; objects from it are an integral part of the visitor route. A significant part of the archaeological collection and the exhibition is occupied by finds from the Early and Late Bronze Age. These are visually attractive mass finds of bronze ornaments, weapons and agricultural objects.
