Jihočeský kraj Jindřichův Hradec The Jindřichův Hradec castle is one of the most monumental sites in the country. The originally gothic castle was rebuilt into an opulent Renaissance residence under the last lords of Hradec. You can still visit some of this era’s structures, like the Jáchym’s Building, Adam’s Building, the Spanish Wing, the Lesser and Greater Arcades and a unique Italian style music pavilion – the so-called Rondel. The Adam’s Building tour route presents the state rooms of the lords of Hradec, the Slavatas and the Černíns. The 18th and 19th Century Apartments tour presents the glory of the big Baroque era hunts and the nearby hunting lodge Jemčina. The Medieval Castle tour route leads you through the oldest parts of the castle, showing the St. George legend painting and one of the best preserved medieval kitchens in the country. +420 384 321 279 jindrichuvhradec@npu.cz www.zamek-jindrichuvhradec.cz
