Kraj Vysočina Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou The Jaroměřice country house is a part of one of the biggest Baroque era complexes in the country and in Europe in general. It is also one of the most visited sites in the region. The house was rebuilt into its current form between 1700 and 1737 by its owners, the Questenberg family. Inside you can see the Ancestor Hall with an allegorical fresco from 1731, the dance hall decorated in the 1830s and Roman baths and sala terrena on the ground fl oor. In its heyday, during the life of Jan Adam Questenberg (1678-1752), it was a cultural centre – there was a large library, theatre and its own orchestra lead by the famous composer František Václav Míča. +420 568 440 237 jaromerice@npu.cz www.zamek-jaromerice.cz
