Kraj Vysočina Lipnice One of the largest Czech castles was founded in early 14th century by the infl uential Lichtemburk family and offers a stroll through monumental medieval architecture. The characteristic silhouette of the castle is defi ned by two residential palaces – the Thurn palace and the Trčka palace and two massive towers – the defensive Great Tower and the residential Samson Tower. You can also see an archaeological display and a large complex of cellars with the former dining hall of Jindřich of Lipá. The castle chapel of St. Joseph is unique because of its size and its originally detached layout and dates to the early 14th century. Visitors can explore the castle during opening hours in their own time which is especially convenient for families with children. +420 569 486 189 lipnice@npu.cz www.hrad-lipnice.cz
