Středočeský kraj Mníšek pod Brdy The originally Baroque style residence fl ourished during the second half of 17th century when it was owned by Servatius Engel of Engelfl uss. The Neoclassical house with three characteristic corner towers stands in the centre of town while being surrounded by a park and a large lake. It served as a residence of lower nobility until the Czechoslovak Republic and it is this interwar period atmosphere you can still experience here. You can visit the state rooms and the chapel or the private chambers designed to look like the last owners never left. The house host events year round – fun guided tours aimed at children, special tours for the grownups, concerts and garden festivities.
