Ústecký kraj Ploskovice The fi rst preserved sentence written in the Czech language from early 13th century mentions Ploskovice by name and the area was settled since the Neolithic era. The residence was built in 18th century on a geological fault – from the south it looks a storey taller than from the north. The fault is compensated by artifi cial water caves connected to an ingenious water system. The interiors are decorated by painter V.V. Reiner and stuccodor T. Soldatti. In 19th century a storey was added to the house as it was being remodelled in the style of the so-called second Rococo with beautiful murals by J. Navrátil. The romantic park is ideal for private walks and there is a café on site. A teddy bear exhibition is fun for both children and adults and the house is recognizable as a setting of many fi lms and TV series. +420 416 749 092 ploskovice@npu.cz www.zamek-ploskovice.cz
