Ústecký kraj Velké Březno The Velké Březno new country house is one of the youngest, smallest but also most beautiful noble residences in the Czech Republic. It was built in 1843-1845 for the Chief Burgrave of the Czech kingdom and president of the land government Count Karel Chotek of Chotkov and Vojnín. The original house was built in Late Austrian Empire style and was later remodelled by Chotek’s grandson in the spirit of Romantic Renaissance Revival style. The interiors show the life of the Chotek family in late 19th century, during which time it hosted Sofi a Chotek the granddaughter of the founder. The house hosts special gourmet tours, wine fairs, classic car race events, evening tours, children’s tours, fl ower exhibitions and concerts. +420 475 228 331 velkebrezno@npu.cz www.zamek-velkebrezno.cz
