The auditorium gives the impression that it is lined by boxes on all three sides. However, longer rows of seats are hidden between the pillars in the central section. When sitting in the auditorium, the spectator may feel as if they have gone back in history to the 19th century. Interiors A new fly loft was built above the stage. However, from the outside there is no indication of the great changes that were made during the renovation in the 1960s. After the fire of 1825, the Viennese architect Pietro von Nobile also reconstructed the front façade facing the street. Carved stone coats of arms inspiring a historical feeling were installed in the wall of the new stage, built pre-1964. Side façade facing the Freiheitsplatz.
