The exhibitions housed in its halls introduce the history of the Chotek family and provide an opportunity to admire the architectural beauty of the building. As the chateau is administered by the National Agricultural Museum, visitors also have the chance to learn more about the history of food and changes in the Bohemian and Moravian countryside. The palace is surrounded by a magnificent large English park, which was planted even before the construction of the palace started in 1798. The palace and the park are located on the perimeter of the village of Svatý Mikuláš, not far from the historical mining city of Kutná Hora, the historic center of which is included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
