In addition, the town museum has an exhibition. A former Capuchin monastery and the St. Anne’s Chapel, where the most famous member of the Waldstein family, the military leader Albrecht von Waldstein, is laid to rest, are located at the edge of the recently renovated chateau park. The town of Mnichovo Hradiště is an excellent place to start a trip through the “Bohemian Paradise”. The ruins of the Drábské světničky and Valečov rock castles are both located nearby.
