Commissioned by the Viennese firm Teppich-u. Möbelstoff Fabriken Philipp Haas u. Söhne, with its headquarters situated near St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the poster was also used by the company’s affiliate branch that was located in Prague’s very first department store on Na Příkopě Street, a building designed by architect Theophil von Hansen of Vienna.
