OBJECTS Interiors and the Art of Furniture Design Tray, c. 1905 Tray, c. 1905 Argentor, Vienna Pewter, cast; length 29 cm, width 18.8 cm Argentor (1902–1970) was a firm that manufactured tableware and a variety of functional objects from metal alloys. The company widely collaborated with members of the Wiener Werkstätte. In 1907, its output included small vases designed by Josef Hoffmann in the Geometric Art Nouveau style and made from nickel-plated brass. The company introduced its products at many international exhibitions.
