Meeting room of the Agricultural Society i You are in the former meeting room of the Agricultural Society. Its most famous member was the worldwide known founder of modern genetics Johann Gregor Mendel. In this room the board of the Society regularly held its meetings in Mendel´s presence. The Agricultural Society operated as a Moravian and Silesian Academy of Sciences and modern science was shaped under this more than four hundred- year-old painted ceiling. RIBOZOM
