Czech China Chamber of Collaboration is one of the main organizers and financial partners of the “Days of the Czech Republic in Shanghai” and the Czech participation in the CSIFT 2015 in Shanghai. The mission of the Chamber is to promote the all-round development of relations between the Czech Republic and the People's Republic of China. It aims at creating the long-standing strong ties between the two countries and implementing mutually beneficial cooperation while transmitting mutual cognizance, trust, understanding and friendship. The Chamber is focused on all-round development of bilateral trade and mutual learning by means of organizing and promoting cultural, sporting, social and scientific events. The Chamber is a co-organizer of the Czech Days in Shanghai (Shanghai CSITF 2015). Members of the Chamber are both Czech and Chinese legal and natural persons. The Chamber initiated the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and between the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic and the China Economic Cooperation Centre. The Association of Regions then authorized the Chamber to coordinate fulfilling of both these contractual documents. Based on a similar principle such as in terms of the Association of Regions, the Chamber represents the Association of Social Democratic Mayors in the Czech Republic. The Chamber has also signed a series of Memoranda of Cooperation with partners from the public administration (among others also with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture), regions and cities of the Czech Republic. After the same manner, it works with its Chinese partners - with Chinese institutions, Chinese provinces, with its counterparts from the Chinese Chambers or with partners from the business sector. The Chamber has also concluded a Memorandum of strategic cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is the organizer of the China Investment Forum (CIF) held in accordance with the Guidelines of the Prime Ministers for Cooperation of the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China in the format 16 plus 1 and acts as the secretary of the Association of Governors of Provinces of the People’s Republic of China and Representatives of Central and Eastern European Countries based on the Local Leaders Meeting (LLM) in Prague in 2015. The Chamber is also the organizer of a series of other activities aimed at promoting cooperation between the Czech Republic and the PRC, such as the Czech-China Health Forum. In June 2015, the Chamber together with the PRC´s Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic will organize the Health Ministers Meeting between China and Countries of Central and Eastern Europe in Prague. The Chamber works on the principle of mutual support and trust with the Embassy of the PRC in the Czech Republic. They jointly organize a series of political, commercial and cultural events both in the PRC and in the Czech Republic. The most significant was the performance of the China National Opera RED CLIFF at the National Theatre in Prague, the exhibition “Treasures of Ancient China” at the Prague Castle in addition to “The Great Chinese New Year Concert”, the “Contemporary Chinese Art” exhibition, performance by the Chamber Orchestra of the Forbidden City, Voice of Yunnan and Kungfu Dance Gateway in the Czech Republic or the first open “Celebration of the Chinese New Year of Sheep” at the Old Town Square in Prague in 2015. In cooperation with the Chinese state television CCTV and the Czech Television, the Chamber organized an inauguration of broadcasting of the Czech Little Mole children's cartoon series, which took place on 13 July 2012 in Beijing under the auspices of the spouse of the President of the Czech Republic. The Chamber is also involved in the joint project of the CCTV and the Czech company Little Mole by promoting shooting of 52 parts of children's animated series called Panda and the Little Mole.
